Ensuring sustainability is not a new challenge for the arts sector, but as pressures increase, the need to adapt and find alternative models of operation has never been needed more.

Over the past 3 years, Arts & Business NI have been running Blueprint, which invests in long-term growth and finding the route to greater financial security and artistic freedom. The programme explores new models, the practical application of financial concepts and what it really takes to effect change – and we will be exploring these concepts at this event. Through a series of speakers, panels and workshops this event will provide the opportunity to ask where the greatest challenges lie and ask how we can continue to work as impactful organisations. We will also hear from those challenging conventional models and what practical measures have worked in improving the stability of their organisations.
