Calling artists to apply for a two-week residency on the smallest of the Aran Islands, the stunning Inis Oírr.

Áras Éanna Arts Centre, in partnership with Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, are offering their studio space to one performing artist from the 2 – 16 December 2025.

During the residency, you will receive:

  • Open, self-structured time for you own creative practice;
  • A stipend of €2,000 for the full two-week duration;
  • Travel covered to and from the island;
  • A private studio apartment;
  • Access to the Arts Centre’s work studio and theatre spaces.

Artists interested in working as Gaeilge will be prioritised as part of Baboró’s drive to encourage artists to make work for children in the Irish language.
