Hours: Monthly rota with shifts available primarily evening and weekends, particularly across, but not limited to the month of December.

Main purpose of job:
Reporting to the Box Office Team Leader, this role will assist the team in the efficient and effective management of the Box Office for performances (Tue – Sun evenings 16:30-21:00/weekend daytime 09:00-17:00), by delivering the highest standards of customer care. The post holder will also be responsible for handling cash during ticket transactions, and reconciling their float at the end of their shift. The Casual Box Office Assistant will also have possibility to progress within the role and develop their administrative skills and ticketing system knowledge.
Essential Criteria
· 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths at grade C or above
· A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a customer service role
· A minimum of 1 year of sales experience to include handling cash, taking payments and proactively selling to customers
· Experience of data processing, using a computerised database system
Desirable Criteria
· Experience of working with a ticketing system
· 1 year of experience in a reception role, including the meeting and greeting of customers and taking telephone calls.
· 1 year of experience of working in a visitor led venue
