CALL OUT FOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, DISTORTION

Fee: This is a paid role with a weekly fee of £515 (plus holiday pay of £46 per week)

Contract: Self-Employed

Length of Contract: 6 weeks

The MAC are currently recruiting an Assistant Director for our production of ‘Distortion’ written by Amanda Verlaque, directed by Rhiann Jeffrey. The Assistant Director will gain experience in working on a full theatre production and in all aspects of the creation of the project.

The Assistant Director position on ‘Distortion’ is intended to be a learning and training opportunity. The candidate will have a proven interest in creating contemporary theatre and desire to utilise this learning experience as an opportunity for professional development.

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and emerging Director with at least two directing credits, this can include fringe shows and/or substantial community theatre work and/or student productions.
