In partnership with Leeds Dance Partnership, Leeds Playhouse has a job opportunity for an individual in the early stages of their career and looking to become a Programmer with a particular interest in dance. Because we recognise that people from the global majority are underrepresented in programming roles, we are particularly interested in hearing from people with African or Caribbean heritage.
This is a full time for a one-year contract at Leeds Playhouse, with opportunities to contribute to our LDP partner organisations. During this time, the Dance Programmer will split their time between Leeds Playhouse (approx. 3 days per week) and other Leeds Dance Partnership organisations in the City.
As part of this year-long contract, you will be mentored by Sharon Watson MBE and Principle of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and supported in your on-going journey towards becoming a leader, so this opportunity is best suited for someone who is at the earlier stages of their career as a programmer.
