Focus Groups Feedback Report
Department for Communities taskforce set up focus groups to support wider engagement in the development of the new Culture Arts & Heritage Strategy for Northern Ireland.
Theatre and Dance NI sit on this taskforce. We organised and convened meetings with freelancers and independent artists, theatre and dance production companies and venues to gather feedback about the sector, building on previous insight from the ‘Art of Recovery’ report.
Using the template provided from DFC, the discussion was based on the following topics; the factors/forces which work for and against your sector thriving, if the issues identified in ‘Art of Recovery’ still priorities for the sector and how to engage people and communities.
