Whilst they wait for the day when they can bring you live performance again, Dublin Dance Festival are excited to announce the Digital Capsule from 29 May–7 June, a dedicated space to share dance with the artists, audiences, friends and supporters who would have gathered in venues across the city this May.
They invite dance lovers, practitioners, and curious newbies to enjoy ‘10 days of movement in a world of restriction’, with a new event launched each day to watch, experience, or reflect on.
During this time, they will also offer ‘3 moments of connection’ for our dance community to come together and explore the important conversations that we need to have right now.
The DDF Digital Capsule is an invitation to experience dance in different ways until everyone can meet again. It’s an opportunity to move, slow and to connect with each other through dance.
Dublin Dance Festival hope that this tailored selection of short films, documentaries, discussions, workshops and dance parties might offer you some joy, strength, beauty and insight during this time.
Programme details will be announced soon. Sign up to their newsletter to find out first and follow them on social to join the conversation online.
