Theatre and Dance NI (TDNI) is offering four bursaries of £500 each to support Northern Ireland arts workers to attend Dublin Fringe Festival 2026.
Two bursaries are available for early-career arts workers and two for established arts workers.
Attending the festival provides an opportunity to experience new work, develop professional relationships, gain insight into current practice and explore ideas and connections that could support the future development and presentation of your own work.
About the bursary
Theatre and Dance NI has supported artists to attend Dublin Fringe since 2016, helping members build professional networks, discover new work, engage with the wider sector and develop future creative opportunities.
This year, each bursary will offer £500 towards the cost of attending the festival and can be used for:
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Festival tickets
- Per diems
Dublin Fringe Festival takes place 5–20 September 2026.
Who can apply?
To apply, you must:
- Be a current registered member of Theatre and Dance NI, with your membership active for a minimum of six months.
- Be an arts worker based in Northern Ireland.
- Be available to attend Dublin Fringe Festival 2026.
- Not already be presenting work at Dublin Fringe Festival 2026.

Complete the online application form by Sunday 6 September 2026 at 12 noon.
Only applications submitted within the application period will be considered.
