Join the Yes Men in Belfast for some fun fighting for social justice.
The Yes Men are a growing conspiracy of culture-jamming activists who use subversive techniques to expose corporations and governments for working against the public good. In the past, they’ve impersonated some of the world’s most powerful entities, including Dow Chemical, ExxonMobil and the World Trade Organisation, successfully laying bare their ulterior motives and hidden agendas.
They’ve been called “The Jonathan Swift of the Jackass generation” by Naomi Klein and have released three (soon to be four) award-winning documentaries about their stunts. These days, they spend most of their time supporting and training activists to devise their own creative ways to make change.
Join PPR campaigners in a creative activism workshop with the Yes Men where you can learn how to use the Yes Men tools and tactics in the fight for social justice here at home in Belfast.
