Love to DANCE Fund

Deadline for applications: 24 March 2016 (or until all grant funds have been allocated)

The Love To DANCE Fund is a new initiative from Dance Resource Base (DRB) and Voluntary Arts Ireland (VAI) to foster excellence by providing dance teachers/facilitators with small grants of financial assistance to help with accessing best practice training opportunities outside of Northern Ireland. Dance teachers/facilitators will be eligible to apply for a limited number of small grants of up to £200 each to attend appropriate dance training and skill development opportunities in any dance style or any business development matters connected to their dance participation provision.

This scheme will be open from Monday 20 April 2015 until Thursday 24 March 2016 (or until all grant funds have been allocated).

The application process is very simple – applications can be made in one of the following ways:

  1. In writing by completing, signing and returning the application form; or
  2. Via a short, filmed submission addressing all the questions set out in the application form; or
  3. In person at our offices or one of two pop-up events to be held on Tuesday 21 April 2015 at The Braid Theatre, Ballymena and Tuesday 22 September 2015 in Belfast (venue to be announced).

Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, with half of the fund allocated for activity between April and August 2015 and the other half for activity between September 2015 and March 2016.

Funding for this project comes from the Spirit of 2012 Trust and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
