Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI) is seeking to recruit a Programme Manager who will have a proven track record in project management and coordination (at least 3 years), and relevant third level qualification and/or equivalent experience.
Essential requirements of the position will include, exceptional project management and communications skills, line management of small to medium sized teams, a commitment to and interest in arts and culture, experience of consultation and evaluation methodologies, knowledge of arts participation, and an understanding of the social model of disability.
ADI’s role and remit as the national development and resource organisation for arts and disability has changed and grown substantially over recent years, with the result that ADI is now hiring a series of new positions to meet its current and future needs.
The Programme Manager within ADI, is in consultation with the Executive Director responsible for the rollout and implementation of the organisations’ programme, and for managing a range of artistic projects, access services and training initiatives related to this programme.
The role is suited to someone who has an understanding of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion, particularly within an arts context, can work well as part of a team, whilst also working on their own initiative to deliver the role’s requirements.
