Theatre and Dance NI INVEST in artists!
Theatre and Dance NI are delighted to announce a new initiative to support artists in Northern Ireland develop their careers and practice.
INVEST is a freelance artist development programme based in Belfast with a national and international reach, designed to support, upskill and help create the next generation of inclusive artists to lead Northern Ireland’s theatre and dance sectors.
The programme, which includes 9 bursaries (2 at ÂŁ1000, 4 at ÂŁ3,000 and 3 at ÂŁ5,000), will enable professionals including directors, theatre and dance makers, choreographers, curators, technicians, producers or anyone involved in theatre and dance from diverse groups in Northern Ireland to reflect on and grow their creative practice.
These bursaries are intended to finance time taken to develop new creative ideas and to attend a programme of workshops, residentials and one-on-one industry mentoring dedicated to developing skills, creating a network of contacts with established practitioners in Belfast, regionally and internationally, and forming potential employment opportunities.
Who Can Apply?
Emerging talent and established artists (aged 18 & over) working professionally within the theatre and dance sector, residing in Belfast and wider Northern Ireland.
Key Dates
- Open for applications from Monday 19th December 2022 at 2pm. FAQs and Criteria will also be available.
