Tinderbox are delighted to have been awarded funding through Art Work – an Employment and Skills Initiative for the Arts Sector, supported by the Department of Communities through Future Screens NI.
Tinderbox seeks to employ a dynamic artist as Creative Development Practitioner for the next three years. The role will focus on creative process , the development of new work for performance and the creation and delivery of enriching participatory projects.
The role is investigative in practice with research and evaluation methods essential in the articulation and drive of Artistic Process. This role requires an understanding of Play Methodology and Contemporary Devising practise. (Further Training will be provided.)
The role presents early stage development for a career in Dramaturgy, Creative Facilitation and Artistic Direction. The CD Practitioner will be mentored and supported as their skills develop by the Artistic Director and with time, will also have opportunities to lead on new work development with artists and lead full participatory programmes.
This is an entry level full time position, reporting to the Artistic Director and the company will offer a three year fixed term contract to start, with a view to extending the contract to pending funding and finance.
