Young at Art, Northern Ireland’s leading children’s arts organisation and producer of the annual Belfast Children’s Festival, wishes to find a Festival Intern.
This paid internship is designed to create an entry level opportunity to gain a range of experiences of working in the creative and cultural industries that will assist with the intern’s further professional development. This internship will have a particular focus on event/project management leading up to, and including, Young at Art’s delivery of our showcase annual event, Belfast Children’s Festival 2022.
This is a fixed-term contract. The intern will work 22.5 hours per week from 7 February until 25 February 2022 in the lead up to the Festival. They will work 37.5 hours per week between 28 February and 13 March to assist with the delivery of the Festival then post-Festival return to 22.5 hours per week from 14 March until 31 March 2022. The contract is for 210 hours in total. The salary payable will be £8.91/hour.
