Theatre and Dance NI Event Cancellation Policy
At Theatre and Dance NI, we strive to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Please read our cancellation policy carefully for important information regarding event bookings.
1. Cancellation by Attendees
Event Tickets:
- All event ticket cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be non-refundable.
Refund Process:
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the booking. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
2. Cancellation for Intensives
For events classified as Intensives (workshops, residentials, training programmes, or extended classes), the following cancellation terms apply:
- You may cancel up to two weeks prior to the start date of the intensive to be eligible for a full refund.
- If you cancel after the two-week period, but Theatre and Dance NI can find a suitable replacement for your spot, you will only be charged 10% of the fee to cover administrative costs.
- If no replacement can be found after cancellation, 50% of your fee will still apply.
3. Changes to Event Dates or Times
If an event is rescheduled, attendees will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of booking.
You will have the option to either:
- Transfer your tickets to the new date and time; or
- Request a full refund if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event.
4. Cancellation by Theatre and Dance NI
If an event is cancelled by Theatre and Dance NI due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, technical issues, or extreme weather conditions), all ticket holders will receive a full refund.
We will make every effort to notify you of any cancellations at the earliest opportunity via the contact details provided at the time of booking.
5. No Shows
If you do not attend the event without prior notice, your ticket will be considered non-refundable.
For free events, no-shows will be charged an administration fee to cover costs incurred due to the unattended booking of ÂŁ20 per person.
6. Special Considerations
If you have a specific situation that may require additional consideration (e.g., medical emergencies, travel restrictions), please reach out to us directly as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you.
