In August 2022, Culture Ireland returns to an inperson Showcase programme at the Edinburgh Fringe and will host a networking event on Tuesday 23 August to facilitate direct engagement with international promoters in Edinburgh.
Culture Ireland invites applications from those who wish to be part of the Irish delegation to attend this networking event to promote their work to international arts industry presenters and promoters. A travel grant of €500 will be awarded to a limited number of successful applicants.
Applications will be assessed on the basis of:
• The suitability of the applicant’s project/work for promotion to international delegates in Edinburgh.
• The track record of the artist/company in presenting work abroad.
• Evidence of an international touring strategy including a potential list of international contacts.
• The capacity of the artist/company to avail of opportunities to tour internationally in 2023/2024.
Applicants must be available to be in Edinburgh on 23 August 2022 to attend the Culture Ireland networking event.
The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm Monday 13 June 2022.
PLEASE NOTE: In the case of a company, only one application for either an artist or company manager will be eligible for consideration. Artists and/or companies already in receipt of Culture Ireland support to showcase in Edinburgh this year are not eligible to apply.
