Established in 1957, Dublin Theatre Festival is an annual event that brings together artists, theatre-makers and audiences from Ireland and around the world. At the heart of the festival is the city of Dublin – its people and its stories – and a commitment to contributing to the vibrant social and cultural life of our capital. The spirit of the festival lies in the people who engage as dedicated friends or curious spectators, and they welcome and value the participation of all artists, audiences and guests.

Dublin Theatre Festival bring world-class theatre to Dublin, support artists in creating outstanding work and provide a platform to showcase the best of Irish theatre to the word.

Testimonial from previous attendee:
“Overall, my experience was fantastic, and will have an impact on development both short and long term. It has also taken the mystery out of what the wider Dublin theatre scene is like and I now feel that I want to attend more shows down there and also work towards producing my own work down there.”
