This open call is directed to mid-career or experienced Ireland-based artists in search of space and opportunities to develop new European partnerships for their work.
Residency period: 22nd January to 3rd February 2023 for up to two people, including a work-in-progress presentation as part of a public event as part of 3 du Trois on 3rd February.

The TD INTERNATIONAL residencies program proposes to support and facilitate a decentralised creation framework for dance artists, involving an international network of expertise and partnerships to:
• Provide & facilitate residencies in Co. Tipperary
• Provide & facilitate international residences. Generate international exchange
This programme proposes a reciprocating exchange of residencies between Tipperary Dance and our Europe-based partner organisations.
A shifting landscape in arts resources has impulsed European stakeholders to build networks beyond national borders to facilitate, creation, research, co-production and dissemination. Dance artists are increasingly reliant on such networks to create and disseminate work. This project aims to strengthen the Irish based dance sector in interconnection with the international.
The 2023 programme provides creation residences and facilitates the encounter between Irish-based artists and our International partners Trois C-L in Luxemburg, Grand Studio in Brussels, Tenerife LAV in La Laguna, Tanztendenz in Münich, Tipperary Excel Arts Centre, Tigh Roy Ionad Culthúrtha. It will support four projects from Ireland and host one project from each of our international partner venues.
Some residences are curated. Others, like the one proposed here, are subject to an open call.
