As part of the Spring Forward Festival in Dublin 27-29 April 2023, Aerowaves Europe is inviting 10 dance makers based in Ireland to participate in an intensive capacity building programme which includes a professional development workshop, opportunities to network and access to the Spring Forward festival programme.
This will include a professional development workshop led by Anikó RÁCZ, artistic director of SÍN Arts Center Hungary on 26th April.
An online meeting with Anna Arthur, Elisabetta Bisaro and Roberto Casarotto to get to know more about Aerowaves, its aims and activities on 3rd April.
The screening of a dance film and a talk with Aerowaves artist Camilla Monga and Springback writer Róisín O’Brien. This will also be an opportunity to meet the international group of journalists and writers of the Springback Academy and the producers and curators of the Startup Forum programme on 26 April, 6.30-8.30pm

Access to the festival programme
The participants will have free access to the 21 performances part of the Aerowaves Spring Forward Festival programme. These are the twenty companies selected by the partners this year, plus Oona Doherty’s Hope Hunt and and the Ascension into Lazarus.
Participants are also invited to the receptions offered to festival guests.
For Irish-based dance makers curious to discover the different facets of contemporary dance across Europe and interested in developing and/or expanding their connections with international artists and presenters. Applicants must be available to participate in all the scheduled events part of Artists’ Encounter.
