Building on the success of 2021’s Verge Rehearsed Reading Series, Prime Cut Productions are seeking submissions of new theatre scripts for its Verge 2022 Season by Playwrights born or resident on the Island of Ireland.

They are specifically looking for completed plays that feature at least two characters and have not yet been produced, to take part in a series of live streamed rehearsed reading directed by Prime Cut Associate Director, Rhiann Jeffrey.

This is an opportunity for you to hear your play read by a professional cast and heard by both industry professionals and the public with the opportunity for Q&A following the reading.

Verge Season 3 will be a curated season of 4 readings and a small development fee will be paid to playwrights whose work is chosen.

Please submit your script with a short synopsis and character list to Natalie at associateproducer@primecutproductions.co.uk by 5pm, Wednesday 13th April 2022.

Successful submissions will be notified by Friday 29th April 2022.

Playwrights who have applied to Verge before will be considered, but previous scripts submitted will not be considered for selection.
