Through our Creative Economy work in Sub Saharan Africa, we offer a suite of support to young people, to facilitate their learning and economic advancement ambitions. We work in an integrated way to build capacity, through learning, networking and other support that young people need to start or grow their creative and social enterprises or get new / better jobs in the Creative Economy sector.     

2021 Programme Summary:

 In SSA we will work thematically across the core areas of Creative EnterpriseLeadership, and Policy.

The Creative Economy 2021 funding round will focus on supporting the creative economies in 8 countries in Sub Saharan Africa to support young people to regional and UK peer/expert networks, other skills opportunities and knowledge, mentoring, business incubation/acceleration, and other support that they need to build sustainable creative enterprise.

Cultural and Creative Organisations and Institutions based in the UK and one of Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and South Africa will be invited to jointly develop content for Creative Enterprise SSA Arts.”
