The Leathersellers’ Company Charitable Fund provides a wide range of funding to UK registered Charities, Educational Institutions and University Students. Last year (2018/19) we awarded £3,440,255 in charitable and educational grants. This year (2019/20) they expect to spend a similar amount on deserving causes.
This is a fast track application process for small one-off grants (up to maximum of £3,000).
In the light of the high demand for funds, and their desire to avoid charities spending time on unsuccessful applications, the small grants programme will now only consider applications from UK registered charities (this includes Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO) but not Community Interest Companies (CIC)) that are:
- currently supporting vulnerable people;
- working in geographical areas of high deprivation (within the UK); and
- have an annual income under £200,000
Capped Applications
From September 2020 to June 2021 they will have 14 rounds, or opportunities for applications to be submitted. The number of applications is capped to ensure your time spent applying is proportionate to your chance of funding. Submissions will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (though you will be able to save a draft until next time). Please click the “Process” tab below to find out more.
If your organisation meets the criteria, please read the information in each of the tabs below (where you will also find a downloadable version of the form) and apply online via the application form.
