These Streets
A chance to walk the streets in someone else’s shoes.
‘These Streets’ is the further development of Three‘s Theatre Company’s production which was created in 2019 as part of World Homeless Awareness Day.
After interviewing people who have been and currently are experiencing homelessness, their stories were amalgamated to create two 45 minute tales of the city – ‘Dinosaur’ and ‘Ice-Cream’. Whichever audio piece you you choose to listen to will determine your journey around the city. Go with a friend and experience something completely different:
Dinosaur – written by Colm G Doran and voiced by Brendan Quinn is the story of Street Homelessness, Hostels and Addiction.
Ice-Cream – written by Gina Donnelly and voiced by Adele Gribbon is the story of Hidden Homelessness and a relationship that was too good to be true.
The next performance is this coming Sunday (23rd May) at 4pm and 5:30pm and we hope to run it monthly thereafter.
This is a walking tour so check the weather and please dress appropriately.
