FOR MALE DANCERS – SUMMER 2022 PRODUCTION
Dance Associate Company are looking for company dancers for their new dance production with 3 choreographers for Spring – Summer 2022.
DA committed to ensuring that their company and the artists they work with represent the world we live in and strongly encourage performers from diverse backgrounds to apply.
Please note that they are only accepting applications from the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland residents) for this project.
Where: DOWNSHIRE HOUSE, 1 – 3 DOWNSHIRE PLACE, BELFAST BT2 7JQ (off Great Victoria Street).

Dance Associate Company creates contemporary performances with dance and choreography at its core by combining dance, music, and the digital arts, producing work that is simultaneously bold, exciting, and constantly evolving. They explore new ideas, aesthetics, and techniques with an exceptional team of choreographers, dancers, digital artists, musicians, poets, writers, designers, and visual artists.

Dance Impact is a new company project involving 3 choreographers, Suzannah McCreight, Michael McEvoy, and Emily McDonagh, who are looking for male dancers to investigate male mental health issues and raise awareness of the impact of arts on their wellbeing. There is so much space in here for dance to be made.
Required Profile:– Trained Contemporary Dancer with a solid technical base– Exceptional musicality– Strong improvisation skills – respond well to creative tasks, adapt to choreography quickly– Foundation in partner work– Stage Experience– English Speaking– Open-mindedness, team spirit, generosity, curiosity
