Commedia of Errors is currently working on its production – Dementia: Changing Perspectives VR programme. This programme creates VR films from the real lived experience of local people living with the early stages of dementia.
The project is part of the companies developing strand of work that uses drama to build empathy and understanding for both staff and family of those living with Dementia.
The most recent film, titled “Bernie” was created with support from Future Screens NI and is being tested over the coming weeks with workers and volunteers across the care sector. “Bernie” features actors Helena Bereen and Amanda Doherty, is written by Clare McMahon, directed by Benjamin Gould, designed by Tracey Lindsey and made in partnership with Retinize NI.
