Dance Limerick offers supported residencies to professional dance artists and choreographers to research and develop work in Dance Limerick from August to December 2025.

The residency aims to support research, experimentation, practice development and/or creation of work. Residencies are open to national and international dance artists in all dance genres and at any stage of their career. The residency is for a one or two-week period. It supports individual artists or a team of up to 4 artists/collaborators.

The purpose of these residencies is to allow time and space for your dance practice research, development and experimentation and to develop collaborative relationships. You will be able to take your idea to the next stage through rehearsal and production time, and you will have the opportunity to engage with a local community in Limerick towards future project proposals.

The residencies are aimed at national and international dance artists, choreographers and companies from all dance genres and all career stages, with funded or unfunded projects and ideas.

Closing Date for receipt of applications is Thursday 12 June 2025, 5 pm GMT For full terms & conditions and more information on how to apply, click here.
