Theatre and Dance NI is delighted to partner with Dublin Dance Festival to offer a bursary for 2026, supporting artists to experience one of Europe’s leading dance festivals.
Dublin Dance Festival celebrates bold, innovative performances from Irish artists and internationally acclaimed choreographers. This year’s programme explores ritual, community, and chaos, sharing powerful personal stories and collective wisdom.
What the bursary includes:
- Dublin Dance Festival Artist Pass from 14 – 16 May 2026
- 3 nights’ accommodation
- Per diems of 40 Euros per day
- Travel expenses
The Artist Pass is aimed at early career dance artists. It offers the chance to attend a curated selection of events in the 2026 Festival, including leading Irish and international dance productions, masterclasses, artist talks, peer networking sessions and festival receptions. We hope the initiative offers artists the opportunity to see work they may not otherwise get to see within a festival context and to make new connections with peers and colleagues.
