High Points Youth Ballet’s annual family Christmas tradition returns to the stage on December 18 at 7PM, and December 19 at 1PM at the Stranmillis Drama Theatre.

The Nutcracker tells the story of Marie, a young girl whose Christmas Eve dreams include a battle with the evil Rat King, falling in love with the Nutcracker Prince, a snowstorm in a winter forest, and a journey to the Land of the Sweets, featuring thrilling choreography from around the world and the timeless music of Tchaikovsky.

High Points Youth Ballet CIC is Northern Ireland’s only training programme for young dancers aspiring to a career in professional ballet. HPYB students hail from across Northern Ireland, from Armagh to Newtownards, and from Derry/Londonderry to Belfast.

Adult tickets are £17, and children’s tickets are £12, and can be purchased here.
