Theatre and Dance NI are delighted to welcome Charlotte Jones, CEO of the Independent Theatre Council (ITC) to deliver a day’s training in Principles of Contracts & Contract Negotiation.

In partnership with the Lyric Theatre, this training day is designed to help build knowledge and empower more people within our industry and is suitable for anyone who writes contracts and for those who receive them.

We know from member feedback that many people in our business find understanding and negotiating industry contracts complex, challenging, and hard to fully understand so come join us.

Date: 14th September 2022
Time: 10.00am – 3.30pm
Location: Lyric Theatre, Belfast (In-person only)

Approach to training
Through a mix of trainer presentation, group discussion and practical exercises these sessions will offer a demystifying explanation of the basics of contract law and empower attendees with the skills needed to be a confident negotiator. Opportunities will be provided to ask questions and share your own experiences.

Participant feedback:
“The interactive nature of both sessions was great and pushed you to put what you had learned into action. I also liked how open the sessions were with a ‘no stupid questions’ policy.”
