NICVA has launched its new communication training series March – September 2022. Working in partnership with Bespoke Communications and Roger Gowdy we are offering 5 courses for staff, volunteers and board members.

There are 3 brand new courses that have been developed based on requests that we have been receiving from the sector: Introduction to podcasting, Podcasting Accelerator and Managing meetings in a hybrid world. As well as a few courses back by popular demand: Power of the case study and Managing the media. The courses are all online except for Managing the Media in September which is being held in NICVA.

The way in which we communicate and the methods we use continue to change all the time and we want to ensure that we are using the tools at our disposal in the best possible way. We want to engage better with our current audiences and reach out into new audiences with our messages.

Our MediaConnect website is a great way for you to connect with journalists, media professionals those interested in hearing from those with expertise and experience within the voluntary and community sector. You can join this network for free, all you need to do is register here.
