Sadlers Wells are offering a new development commission for three choreographers to have time, space, financial and producing support to develop their practice with no expectation to deliver a production-based outcome at the end of the process. They hope these commissions can be a catalyst for development for artists to explore and deepen their practice.
Each artist will receive:
- Two weeks of in-kind studio space at Sadler’s Wells.
- A grant of ÂŁ7,000 to cover any associated costs.
- Producing support from the Artist Development team.
In addition, to make the session a success for those with supplementary needs, they can offer a bespoke package of access support to suit your requirements.
The development commissions will be selected by open call where choreographers are asked to talk about their creative practice, describe what they would like to explore and why they would benefit from a development commission at this time.
