Safe to Create are undertaking quantitative and qualitiative research to gather as much intersecting information as possible about what it’s like to work in the arts/creative sectors if you are disabled, LGBTQIA+, and/or from a minoritised racial or ethnic background.
After their Speak Up report was published in 2021, it was recognised that the initial research did not adequately capture the experiences of certain communities within the arts/creative sectors.
If you are part of one or more of these communities, read more and take part here
SAFE TO CREATE is a collaborative programme, funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, to create safer working conditions for arts and creative workers. It provides supports to combat harmful behaviour in the workplace, including information, training, resources, research, specialist counselling and legal advice.
