After a successful programme in autumn 2020, Season for Ex-Change has returned with an 8-week online programme of talks, events and workshops every Thursday about artists, activism and the arts sector’s role in the climate movement.

Speakers include Thimali Kodikara (Mothers of Invention), Magid Magid, Araceli Camargo, (Director at Centric Lab), Chanté Joseph, Charise Johnson, Kaajal Modi, Josie Dale-Jones and Camilla Clarke, with more to be announced.

Thimali Kodikara, series producer and co-host of Mothers Of Invention, the groundbreaking podcast on feminist solutions to the climate crisis, hosts a panel discussion on what justice means within, and beyond, and a climate context. Guests include Magid Magid.

Creative Climate Chat: Araceli Camargo

Farah Ahmed of Julie’s Bicycle talks to Araceli Camargo, the Director at Centric Lab, a neuroscience research lab creating strategies to improve public health. They’ll explore how public health policy can drive climate action, and how the arts can support public and planetary wellbeing.

Season for Ex-Change is for artists, arts organisations, cultural practitioners, producers, curators and anyone who wants to learn about, share knowledge or get ideas and inspiration on embedding climate action and climate justice in their artistic and creative work.
