The purpose of this project is to explore abuse prevention/safeguarding issues in dance and the policies and practices in place within UK dance organisations to protect dance students, professional dance artists and dancesport athletes.
One Dance UK:
- We would like leaders in UK dance organisations to volunteer for our research, but it is not compulsory to take part.
- This project was reviewed by the Ethics Committee of the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Birmingham
These findings will be used to help inform One Dance UK in developing resources and support for the dance sector on abuse prevention/safeguarding. Your responses will be used anonymously in publications, reports and presentations, including those provided to One Dance UK.
