University of Atypical is supporting the Arts Council Northern Ireland by providing support for d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists who are applying for a Support for Individual Artists Programme.

Please read the Guidance Notes on the Arts Council of Northern Ireland website before your first advice session. This will allow UoA to provide you with the necessary answers.
The deadlines to request an advice session from University of Atypical are as follows:
- Musical Instruments for Individuals: Monday 19 August
- Major Individual Artist Awards: Monday 26 August
- Artists’ International Development Fund: Monday 26 August
- Minority Ethnic Artists’ Mentoring & Residency Scheme: Thursday 29 August
- Project Funding for Individual Artists Programme: Wednesday 4 September
These advice session deadlines are all two weeks before the Arts Council of Northern Ireland final submission deadlines of each fund.
The final submission deadlines are as follows:
- Musical Instruments for Individuals: Monday 2 September at 12:00 pm
- Major Individual Artist Awards: Monday 9 September at 12:00 pm
- Artists’ International Development Fund: Monday 9th September at 12:00 pm
- Minority Ethnic Artists’ Mentoring & Residency Scheme: Thursday 12 September at 12:00 pm
- Project Funding for Individual Artists Programme: Wednesday 18 September at 12:00 pm
They will begin organising advice sessions from Tuesday 6 August.
There is one in-person drop-in advice session on Friday 23 August from 2:00 – 5:00pm.
