Theatre and Dance NI, in partnership with Belfast International Arts Festival and with support from Arts Council of Northern Ireland and British Council Northern Ireland, are delighted to lead on delivering the 2023 Spotlight on Theatre and Dance from Northern Ireland networking events and programme at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

We are delighted to announce that part of the fellowship programme includes bursaries to support five early to established career artists, directors and producers who are intending to take work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in the future and promote themselves and/or their work to international arts industry presenters and promoters.

The bursaries will provide financial support of £1,000 that can be used for travel, per diems, accommodation, tickets, and/or expenses while at the festival. The fellowship programme will provide networking support alongside the opportunity to see high-quality work and share learning and considerations when taking work to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is a great celebration of arts and culture, a significant marketplace, and gateway to international opportunities to take your career to the next level. It’s also a place full of creative energy from around the globe in which artists and performers take to hundreds of stages all over the city to present shows for every taste.
